Join Bella in one of our Season Opener sails to kick off our exciting season ahead.
Starting in Lymington, you will join Bella in the early evening at her home in Berthon Marina and she can be found at berth D25. Once you are settled in your cabin, it’s time for some grub.
Heading ashore to one of the restaurants, this will give everyone who is taking part in the cruise, an opportunity to get to know each other and the Solent destination will be up for discussion. Destinations include Yarmouth, Cowes, Portsmouth, Bucklers Hard, Hamble and Poole all weather dependant of course.
Once the bellies are full and all are merry, it will be time to hit the sack for an early rise the next morning. Woken by a ring of the bell and the smell of bacon, guests will be given the opportunity to hit the showers in the marina to freshen up for the busy day ahead. After a light breakfast on board and a safety briefing, it’s time to head for The Solent and get the sails up.
Under the supervision of our qualified and experienced skipper, we encourage all crewmembers to get involved in all aspects of the boat. Sailing on Bella is a highly participative activity. If you don’t know how to sail, we will teach you the basics or if you are experienced, you will have plenty of opportunity to apply your skills.
Sailing is one way to work up an appetite and after an eventful morning, no doubt there will be some hungry sailors aboard. Berthing at a spontaneous destination, a spot of lunch on board will be in order.
The rest of the afternoon will be spent sailing The Solent and heading to the chosen destination where Bella will be berthed for the evening. Dinner again will be shore side. Following the same procedure as the previous day, a full day of sailing is on the cards heading back to Lymington for around 5pm.
All of this can be enjoyed for an impressive £99 per person, which includes breakfast, lunch, diesel and berthing fees. All shore side meals will be at your own cost. This is a great opportunity for sailors of all levels and is a great weekend getaway. Book your place now before it’s to late, or contact Team Bella on 0207 305 5000 for further information.
