The Myth of Malham race, one of the qualifying races for this year's Rolex Fastnet, is now behind us. Light winds on the outbound leg proved that the decision to order new North Sails in time for the Fastnet was a good one. Bella went well in heavy conditions but the small genoa slowed us down in light winds. Once round the Eddystone Lighthouse we hoisted the spinnaker and it stayed up till the finish line, at times making 12.5 knots. We had a great time and some good sailing with a fabulous crew.
